The Corporate Transparency Act is a new federal law that requires certain Reporting Companies to report Beneficial Owner Information to the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN), a bureau of the U.S. Department of the Treasury. Companies that existed prior to January 1, 2024 will need to report in the 2024 calendar year. Companies created January 1, 2024 or after will have a either 90, or 30 days to file a report.
